The Block
Huge Appraisal and Development Block
Block 3104 spans 6,670 km² in northwest Madagascar. The Tsimiroro structure extends 57km north-south and 12km east-west — one of the largest undeveloped heavy oil accumulations in sub-Saharan Africa.
Located approximately 100km inland from Maintirano (220km by road) and 275km west of Antananarivo (360km by road).

First commercial deliveries — 2H 2021

Madagascar Oil holds 100% working interest in the Production Sharing Contract covering Block 3104, held through its wholly-owned Malagasy subsidiary — Madagascar Oil S.A.
